Traffic congestion on first day of Lunar New Year holiday in S. Korea

As the four-day Lunar New Year holiday begins today, travelers across the country are facing traffic congestion.
The Korea Expressway Corporation, as of Friday morning, expects a journey on the highways from Seoul to Busan to take more than 8 hours.
The corporation expects traffic jams to be at their worst around noon and are expected to get better from around 9 PM.
Around 5-point-2 million vehicles are expected to be on the roads on Friday.
More than half of the population are likely to be on the move over the holidays.
