The Shabbat Feast!!! Roasted Salmon; Moroccan Salmon; Breast of Veal; Roasted Chicken with Vegetables; Flanken; Osvo; Halte Bahsh; Deli Roll; Purple Cabbage Slaw; Tuna Salad; Boyjon; Broiled Eggplant Salad; Beet and Carrot Salad; Potato Salad, Avocado Salad; Fried Flounder; Roasted Vegetables

Recipes:

Green rice/Bahsh:
2-3 cups short grain rice
Large palm full of diced meat
1 onion diced
3 bunches of cilantro diced
1 bunch of dill diced
1/2 cup of oil
1 tbsp salt
1 tbsp chicken consome
Pepper
Turmeric
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp coriander
Cook in steamer for 4 hours.

Roasted Veal:
S/p
Montreal steak seasoning
Garlic powder
Kabob spice
Paprika
Cumin
Coriander
Oil
Baked covered at 400F for 3 hours covered.

Roasted Chicken with Vegetables:
Brown chicken thighs and place on baking tray. Add desired vegetable like onions, potatoes, celery and carrots to a skillet and sauté for 5 minutes. Add 1/2 a can of tomato sauce. Pour vegetables over the chicken. Cook covered at 400 F for 1 hour. Uncover and cook for an additional hour.

Purple cabbage salad:
Shredded purple cabbage
1 red onion thinly sliced
1 cucumber shredded
Different colored peppers
S/p
Garlic
Mayo
Lemon juice

Carrot and beet salad:
Shred carrot and beet with a mandolin slicer. Season with s/p, sugar, garlic and oil. Optional: Add sautéed onions.

Boyjon/Roasted Eggplant Salad:
Wrap clean eggplant in foil and put on an open fire until soft. Scoop out the inside and mix with garlic and salt.

Potato salad:
Boil
1 potato, 1 carrot, 3 eggs
Cube above ingredients as well as 3 pickles.
Season with mayo s/p, add greens of choice, I love adding in dill and scallions
