The borescope records video in motion JPEG format with optional monophonic uncompressed PCM audio. I seriously doubt the camera sensor is anywhere near capable of full HD video (1920x1080), which is also true of any competing borescope I have used. Still pictures are standard JPEGs and there is EXIF data present within.

Beyond the usual EXIF information, the camera make is reported as "HX Tech", a model string that says only "HD" and software identified as "HX33X-V001.001". None of this information led to anything tremendously relevant or interesting.

Storage comes from an included 32GB micro SD card. The borescope's USB-C port is for charging and data transfer only. It cannot be used to attach an adapter for an external monitor. The camera has a fixed focus setting and it seems to be set pretty close.
