Описание к видео Quick Die Change | Green Valley Manufacturing

___Changing molds and dies is one of the biggest challenges in manufacturing. Green Valley Manufacturing specializes in quick die change systems and quick mold change systems that can service one press or even several presses in the same area. Our variety of quick die change products have capabilities of both lifting, side shifting, rotating if necessary, as well as pushing or pulling heavy dies or molds in or out of the press. We have solutions for small 500 pound tools and can even change dies in excess of 200,000 pounds. We offer die shuttle tables, custom railcars, as well as several low profile options. The concept is simple: minimize the time between die changes from the last good hit on one tool to the first good hit on another.

___That’s where Green Valley Manufacturing comes in. Our solutions are simple, easy-to-use, and fully customizable to meet the needs of your workspace. We specialize in breaking down your process to its simplest parts and customizing each step to ensure your changeovers are fast, efficient, & safe.

___Beyond the dedicated systems, we also offer free ranging die carts and mold carts that can improve the Quick Die Change (QDC) or Quick Mold Change(QMC) process. Our applications engineers will review your plant layout and tool usage and work to optimize your tool storage near the presses they service. We will work to reduce travel time and get the proper tool staged near the press to accomplish a quick die change. We manufacture small staging die racks as well large multilevel die & mold storage racks and storage systems. Green Valley Manufacturing also features an Automatic Storage Retrieval Systems (ASRS) product line that will not only store the proper dies near the press, but retrieve the die from storage and change it out optimizing the quick did change process.

Some other factors Green Valley Manufacturing looks at in a quick die change solution are:

• Tool sizes and weights

• Location of storage and optimization of plant layout and press locations

• Tool usage to stage frequently changed dies, molds, or tools and reduce travel times

• Die transfer and clamp styles to connect the tool

• Press types as well as surface conditions of presses, die lifters, etc

• Operating space & safety

Docking procedures

Tool transport options as well as floor conditions

These are just some of the factors that go into developing the perfect quick die change system for your manufacturing needs.
