Proof HOODOO is WITCHCRAFT, Conjure & Root Work was OUR Spirituality

I have been saying it for years that hoodoo was a made up word to describe our spirituality from other ppl. Our ancestors never used the word hoodoo bc it was witchcraft in the minds of African people. Conjure & Root Work which involved praying, fasting and other disciplines to attune to the Spirit was our spirituality.

For the record, I have numerous books on Kongo spirituality and there is no mention on the term hoodoo. If it were, then the term hoodoo would show up in Cuba, Haiti and Brazil, which is where other Kongo descendants were taken and it doesn't. The KiKongo word for medicine is nkisi, which according to Kongo scholar Dr. Luyaluka refers to "animating power". This is similar to the Ra(u) in the Kemetic tradition.
