CPA's Executive Director Dr. Paikisaothy Saravanamuttu joins Roel Raymond to discuss the political crisis which is a seemingly an overlooked aspect of Sri Lanka's current predicament, historical causes in terms of political culture, leaders, and institutions since independence, the role of #democracy and #humanrights in the economic recovery and much more.

This series is a collaboration of CPA and the Edinburgh Centre for Constitutional Law, created with the purpose of supporting and providing context for a policy package that is scheduled to be unveiled at the start of 2023.
