My personal race report of the Ultra Trail du Mont Blanc 2024 with partner in crime  ‪@petersoetens3621‬   🤘

Epic start with all the top favorites and pro athletes such as Jim Walmsley, Vincent Bouillard, Mathieu Blanchard ( ‪@mathieu_blanchard‬   ), Tom Evans ( ‪@tomevansultra‬   ), Ludovic Pommeret, Germain Grangier, Sage Canaday ( ‪@Vo2maxProductions‬ ), Pau Capell and of course Katie Shide (who set the course record)! Time or a good place in the end result didn’t matter for me. I just wanted to finish this superbowl of trail running in Chamonix-Mont Blanc! 177km with 10,000m of eleveation gain is an adventure in a lifetime, but the 2024 edition was hot, very hot. More than 1000 runners (out of 2700) did not finish this race, due to stomach problems and nausea.

I finally finished sub 43 hours, but enjoyed every second of it!
