How To Hide Photos on iOS Device (Hidden Albums)

Handing off the phone to someone and want to quickly hide photos in your Photo Library?

This tutorial will show you how to hide photos in the Photos App on your iOS Devices.


How To Hide Photos on your iOS Device:
1. Open Photos App
2. Select Photo or Video (Click Select in top-right to select multiple photos or videos)
3. Tap Share Icon in the bottom left corner (the same icon you would use to send a photo via Text, etc)
4. Tap ‘Hide’
5. In the pop-up, tap Hide
6. Photos & Videos are now in a ‘Hidden Album’

How to View Hidden Photos:
1. Open Photos App
2. Tap Albums in the bottom menu
3. Scroll to the very bottom and look for ‘Other Albums’
4. Click on Hidden
5. All Hidden photos and videos will be in the Hidden Album


How To UnHide Photos on your iOS Device:
1. Open Photos App
2. Tap Albums in the bottom menu
3. Scroll to the very bottom and look for ‘Other Albums’
4. Click on Hidden
5. Select one or multiple videos
6. Tap Share Icon in the bottom left corner \
7. Tap ‘UnHide’
8. Done
