Cork fabric is an excellent material for your hand embroidery projects! I took a chance by embroidering cork fabric as a DIY gift project and I’m very please with the finished embroidery wall art. It’s water resistant and did not crack or spoil during the stitching process. There was just a small crack when I hooped the fabric but was not very noticeable especially since it was outside the framed area.

This video is a review of my experience using “Korkstoff” German for cork fabric sold by the brand Rayher. This is not an endorsement of the product, it’s just the one I came across and bought. You can find other brands in your local craft store or online.
