Today, I'll be discussing my journey as an occupational therapist in the field of introception and expressing my gratitude to all those involved in our interoception communities.

Throughout 2022, we covered a wide range of topics related to interoception. We delved into the significance of incorporating interoception support for individuals with eating disorders and chronic pain conditions, recognizing how co-regulation with others helps us understand our interoceptive needs.

We explored incorporating interoception for non-speaking clients and embedding interoception supports in the school setting.

Additionally, we highlighted how interoception, or the understanding of internal sensations, plays a crucial role in supporting individuals experiencing alexithymia.

Reflecting on the past year, one of my most cherished memories was the opportunity to return to in-person teaching.

Although virtual and on-demand courses allowed me to connect with many through Zoom and various social media platforms, there's an incomparable sweetness to engaging in face-to-face interactions and learning.

After 961 days of virtual teaching, stepping onto a real in-person stage was invigorating and rewarding.

As we move forward, I'm excited about the future and eager to continue our collective journey.

I extend my heartfelt thanks to everyone who has been a part of this community, contributing to our growth and learning.

Until January 2023, I look forward to further exploration and collaboration. Cheers to an inspiring and fulfilling year ahead.
