HBM BF30 Milling Machine - Transport, Installation and Test

Описание к видео HBM BF30 Milling Machine - Transport, Installation and Test

I have bought a new larger 230kg milling machine, an HBM BF30, to replace my previous milling machine, an Optimum BF20. As an amateur astronomer, I always need custom-made aluminium parts for my observatory, which I produce myself on my own small benchtop machine tools.
After a long search, I was able to purchase a BF30 milling machine from the Dutch company HBM at a favourable price. This is twice as heavy and large as the BF20 and can machine much larger workpieces.
The main problem was moving the machine from my garage at ground level down 14 steps to my basement 2 metres below. To do this, I had to dismantle the entire machine and transport it in parts, and of course reassemble it at the end.
In this short video I show the process of disassembly, transport and reassembly, as well as a short test of the new milling machine.
