Altamont Group & UNICEF presented a webinar series entitled Beyond Barriers: Advancing Research for Children with Disabilities in early 2025. The fourth webinar on Children with Disabilities in Emergencies examines the complexities of researching disability-inclusive interventions in humanitarian crises and fragile contexts.

The webinar highlights critical evidence gaps, ethical concerns, and methodological barriers in emergency settings, while showcasing innovative research approaches—such as participatory methods and digital tools—that can generate timely, actionable insights. It also addresses the need for local partnerships, and ethical engagement with vulnerable populations.

This webinar series was curated, coordinated, and organized by Altamont Group for UNICEF, as part of continued efforts to advance equity and build a more inclusive future for all children with disabilities.
