Located only a short 25- minute fast train ride from Shanghai, Suzhou is definitely one of my favourite cities in China! Also known as the Venice of the East, Suzhou is one of the oldest cities in China and one of the most popular tourist destination in the country. The city has so much to offer, from beautiful historical district, canals, traditional Chinese gardens, temples and pagodas. It's also known for its silk production and fresh water pearls farms!

In this vlog I explored the silk factory, we experienced the traditional Chinese tea tasting ceremony, had a meal at an amazing restaurant overlooking the lake and Suzhou's skyline and walked around the famous Pingjiang street. Suzhou is definitely a must when visiting China!!
