Soroosh Mohassesi - Midnight Dweller (Original Composition)

Hey guys! Here's an ambient track I just finished today, and it's my entry for a new challenge in Olafur Arnalds' OPIA Community: CC04: Randomness! I love using sequences and I thought it'd be the perfect foundation for this track. So I set one up using Seqund and Phase Plant. The track is in C minor but the sequence leaves out Bb and F out. That gives me the freedom to explore notes like B and F# as well which I think put an interesting and ambiguous twist on the track! I then added some pads, bass, leads, foley and also overdubbed the lead with my Casio SK-1. Lastly, to add another "random" element in there, i messed around with Aphex Twin's Samplebrain program and also Snap Heap to make some glitchy sounds. Overall, I'm happy with the track!
