On Thursday, February 16, 2017, robotics pioneer Zexiang Li, professor of electronic & computer engineering at Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) and co-founder of HKUST’s Robotics Institute, will deliver the sixth annual Ernest S. Kuh Distinguished Lecture. As an entrepreneur, Dr. Li has co - founded several companies in automation technology, including DJI, a global leader in drone products.

In this lecture, Dr. Li will focus on entrepreneurship education for today’s engineering students. As Dr. Li notes, Moore’s Law, the Internet and the availability of rich software, hardware, and manufacturing tools have significantly changed the way we learn things and the way we design, prototype and deploy a product. Entrepreneurship education must be designed to reflect these changes.
