This is where things go reaaaaally bad for Sun Quan. But we don't play as him, instead we play as Gan Ning for the first part. It's a pretty simple first stage, you just go through the Wei forces as your army advances. Then Zhang Liao ambushes you, Taishi Ci dies, and Sun Quan is not happy.

Second battle now has you utterly surrounded and escorting Sun Quan anywhere that isn't here. Zhang Liao ambushes you again almost immediately and then continues to do so. His last appearance has him buffed up too, and as you're trying to escape the Wei forces are all chasing after you.

Oh yeah and Gan Ning and Ling Tong sort of get over their grudges.
