With his debut movie ‘Koozhangal’ (Pebbles) Vinothraj (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PS_Vino...) shot to international fame. The movie was selected as India’s official entry to the Oscar Awards 2022. It participated in more than 70 international film festivals and won many prestigious awards. The movie is considered one of the simplest yet most powerful movies ever made in Tamil language. In his Chat with Chen, Vinothraj talks about his extreme struggles as a child and his tough journey into the world of Cinema, his failures, victories, and his future plans. He also talks about his forthcoming film ‘Kottukaali’ which is produced and acted by some of the big stars of Tamil Cinema.

Shaji Chen

Shaji Chen (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shaji_Chen) is a renowned writer, movie actor, music and movie critic. He started his career as a Music Industry A&R Executive and later moved to advertising and then to writing. He has written more than 10 books on movies, music, and memories. He witnessed and chronicled the evolution of Indian popular music and movies in his reviews and writings. In the last few years, he has been acting in Tamil Movies with occasional outings to Telugu and Malayalam.
