Canada’s rental crisis: The search for an affordable home (Marketplace)

The Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC) says that affordable shelter should cost no more than 30 per cent of our pre-tax income. But how feasible is this? We go behind closed doors to see how the current rental crisis is affecting low-income Canadians and test just what affordable rental housing looks like in two of Canada's most expensive cities.
