No one who lived through the 80s and ealy nineties could hear those three chords without immediately recognizing one of the biggest hits of the era - "Beds Are Burning" by Midnight Oil! Whether you're doing an 80s show, an ecology show, or just need a rocking tune for the stands, this one will fit the bill! It's a medium/intermediate tune, but has some challenges along the way!

Battery percussion was thoughtfully composed to add specific rudiments for your students to work toward perfecting: Paradiddle, 9-Stroke Roll, and Flams are featured within very accessible rhythms and tempo.

Optional front ensemble (pit) is definitely not full of woodwind doubling, and can be tailored to fit your needs or left out altogether - but it adds a lot of color!

Soaring horn lines, aggressive groove - "Beds Are Burning" is sure to get your audience out of their seats!
