#Northeastlive | Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma discussed the prevailing flood situation in the state with Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday. Speaking to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the sidelines of the nomination filing of presidential candidate Draupadi Murmu, Sarma briefed the PM on the relief operations. PM Modi reiterated that the Centre fully stands with the Assam government in dealing with the flood crisis. Chief Minister Sarma after his meeting with Prime Minister Modi yesterday said that the Centre is ready to extend all possible help to the flood hit state.
