The 3 Types of Indie Vocals (Vocal Mixing & Layering Tutorial)

On my recreation videos I've gotten a TON of requests to dive into my mixing process in more depth, so I decided to make a video devoted to it! These are the 3 vocal layering & mixing techniques that I use most often in indie songs, loosely based on the production styles of Bon Iver, Novo Amor, S. Carey, Phoebe Bridgers, and other similar artists.

I'd like to emphasize again that I'm a producer, not a mixing engineer, so please take everything with a grain of salt.
