On July 19, 2024, Aberdeen IronBirds pitchers Zach Fruit (4 2/3 IP), Deivy Cruz (1 1/3 IP), Preston Johnson (2 IP) and Kyle Virbitsky (1 IP), working with catcher Adam Retzbach, combined to throw the third no-hitter in IronBirds history and first in Aberdeen.

IronBirds broadcaster Michael Marcantonini sat down with Fruit (0:062:26), Cruz (2:27-6:23), Johnson (6:24-8:18), Retzbach (8:19-12:18), pitching coach Jordie Henry (15:32-17:35), and manager Felipe Rojas Alou Jr. (17:36-19:15), to recap the historic feat with vivid details and first-person stories.

The Aberdeen IronBirds are the High-A affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles.
