Across the globe, five areas of response—agriculture and food security, education, global health, migration, and peace—have become increasingly critical. The abrupt reduction of foreign aid has disrupted essential health and nutrition services, leaving millions at risk. Meanwhile, in the United States, rising inflation, job losses, and reduced access to education and assistance programs have contributed to growing food insecurity.

This Moment Matters raises awareness of these overlapping crises, drawing attention to global instability, humanitarian needs, and the diminishing of systems designed to protect vulnerable communities.
