So I think that streamlining in the 8th edition could have gone a bit further - specifically when it comes to picking psychic powers for your Psykers. There are 2 problems with this:

1. You ave to remember which psycher has which psychic power. and it becomes bothersome

2. It leads to the same - most universal and most powerful powers to be picked all the time and many -sometimes situationally very useful spells never used.

solution: let psychers know all of the spells from one discipline. If they have access to multiple disciplines, choose one before the game starts.
