Do I need to cut studs for wheel spacers?
When you are ready to install 15mm wheel spacers for your Honda Accord, there're somethings you need to pay attention to. Take a look at the inside of your wheels and make sure the mounting plate has pockets machines into it and isn’t solid. Measure the cavity in your wheels to check out how much it will allow for the stud to go past the spacer outer surface.
If the depth of the wheel pocket is shorter than the OEM stud length, the minimum thickness of a perfectly matched rim spacer is the length of the stud minus the depth of the hole. If the cavity is not deep enough, you will need to cut studs or change it to a thicker spacer.
