Thanks to the adjustable impeller, whose position may be changed also during operation, it is possible to adapt the machine to changing product characteristics, thus always achieving the optimum separation result. The liquid level inside the machine can be adjusted by changing the position of the impeller disc. A small diameter of the impeller mouth results in better clarification of the liquid phase. If the diameter of the impeller mouth is large, the dry zone in the machine increases, resulting in better demoisturing.
The adjustable impeller is a mechanical system, which can directly be adjusted. Optionally, this feature can be automatized in order to be able to react even more accurately to changing product characteristics.
