President of the Centre of the American Experiment John Hinderaker believes there isn’t “any real danger” of criminal indictments against US President-elect Donald Trump being revived.

A United States prosecutor has asked a judge to dismiss the subversion case against US President-elect Donald Trump related to his efforts to overturn his 2020 election defeat.

“If the Democrats try to revive some of these absurd prosecutions, the public will just rebel,” Mr Hinderaker told Sky News host James Morrow.

“These were ridiculous cases that the Democrats brought; the sole purpose was to try to prevent Donald Trump from being elected president – that purpose has failed – those cases are going to quietly go away.”
