Take a hike through the tropical jungle of Puerto Vallarta. In this video we visit a small secluded beach called Playa Colomitos which can only be reached via boat taxi or by hiking though the jungle.

Located about 20 minutes south of Puerto Vallarta, the beach is located in Boca de Tomatlan and can be easily reached via public transport, taxi or rideshare. The hike is quite interesting in itself as one must also be careful as there are some steep inclines and deep cavases that must be crossed.

Overall, best to hike in the morning as the afternoon heat will be sure to wear you down and most importantly bring a swimsuit or swim trucks to enjoy the beach after the hike! Hope you enjoy!
