Скачать или смотреть ACEP/ASU Microgrid Boot Camp 2019: Power Systems Integration (PSI) Lab Demonstration

The intensive five-day Microgrid Boot Camp focuses on technical, economic, and regulatory basics of microgrids, with an emphasis on Alaska energy challenges. Camp participants earn one credit through the UAF Bristol Bay Campus and are primarily University of Alaska undergraduate students who have been selected for the ACEP Utility Student Internship program.

ACEP researchers work with the participants and sharing their expertise via sessions such as microgrid design activities, virtual Power Systems Integration Lab tour and demonstration.

The Microgrid Boot Camp was funded by a grant from the Office of Naval Research.

The ACEP energy testing facilities offers unique capabilities, both in terms of equipment and its employees with years of experience working in a remote village power plants in rural Alaska.

Partnering with industry, government and academia, the Power Systems Integration (PSI) laboratory provides a controlled environment for a broad range of product testing, including power control technologies, in an environment which is capable of closely mimicking a real-world environment. Within a 5,000 square foot facility, ACEP provides infrastructure and technical expertise to validate new technology for our test partners.
