Professor Melanie Davies CBE, professor of diabetes medicine at the University of Leicester, delivers a Charter Lecture entitled 100 Years of Insulin. Professor Davies is the director of the Leicester NIHR Biomedical Research Centre, director of the Patient Recruitment Centre Leicester and a professor in diabetes medicine.
