So I'm pretty sure that ranked and pro ladder both use the same matchmaking, and the only thing separating them is the mmr gap. This means when you have almost 2k faction mmr on regular ladder, you're more likely to queue into someone at 2200 pro ladder fmmr than someone with a standard 1750 regular ladder fmmr. The higher your faction score goes, the more you queue into pro ladder players. Queue times are a pretty harsh limit on how far this can reasonably be taken, but I don't think there's anything actually preventing you from continuing climbing and playing exclusively pro ladder players.

Anyways, this deck is brick city, but it definitely has a fair bit of power behind it. Control cards like Heatwave, and Curse of Corruption are pretty naturally good in the deck aiming to play a short round, since they essentially trade off cards, making the round shorter. Plus they give you a solid unitless in round 3, which a lot of decks don't have ways to deal with right now.
