I'm excited to share how the Citrus are doing in our backyard orchard. One of the benefits of our SoCal climate is being able to enjoy fresh stone fruit and apples during the Summer and Fall, AS WELL AS eating fresh citrus during Winter and Spring. This video I share updates on my "Satsuma", "Honey" and "Gold Nugget" Mandarins (tangerine), "Washington" and "Cara Cara" navel oranges, "Tarocco" blood orange, "Valencia" orange, "Minneola" tangelo, "Cocktail" grapefruit hybrid, Persian lime, "Eureka" lemon, and "Pomona Sweet" lemon.

When it comes to fruit trees, especially fruit trees in pots, citrus trees really shine. Citrus tree care is very minimal, using something as simple as iv organics, orange tree care is accessible to most backyard fruit growers. If you're wondering how to grow citrus, whether oranges, navel orange, eureka lemon, Tangelo, grapefruit hybrids, valencia oranges, limes, satsuma, mandarin, tangerines, tarocco blood orange, cara cara navel, lemons, etc., you'll find that, citrus tree care (especially in climates like Southern California) are easy. Harvesting citrus fruit is really easy, and is usually done by pulling the fruit from the stem, or in cases like satsuma mandarin will require a quick snip with some pruning shears to keep the top of the rind from being pulled off a ripe fruit.
