A nice detour from the road Khujand - Dushanbe in Tajikistan just before climbing up to the Anzob tunnel. It's 50km there and back and depending on the vehicle it can easily take 4 hours. The views of the valley are fantastic and the beautiful lake is embedded within impressively high mountains. There's a homestay and restaurant just after entering the park.
