"Deep Water Dive" POV Kentucky Kingdom and Hurricane Bay (Louisville, KY)

World's tallest drop capsule slide and tallest body slide in North America, this 121 foot (36.9m) tall free-fall slide counts down from three before kicking the floor away and sending riders rocketing down a 70 degree steep slope, coming to a smooth deceleration at the bottom.

Deep Water Dive opened along with Kentucky Kingdom's reopening on May 24, 2014. The slide beats Summit Plummet's height at Walt Disney World's Blizzard Beach by one foot! There's no chairlift to take you part-way up, so pace yourselves as you climb the stairs.
