I combined a bad sounding video recording with a good sounding audio recording and this resulted.

This concert has quite a story; you can even read about it in Anthony's autobiography. There was a big storm coming up and RHCP were supposed to be cancelled, but Pearl Jam were nice guys and allowed them to play on their gear (and in their concert time). Here are the tapers' notes:

"The RHCP, actually played on Pearl jam's Gear! It was crazy. Pearl Jam, just handed them their instruments. [...] The reason the RHCP were cut short is because the day before lightning hit the stadium and they canceled the show at that point and the RHCP had not played yet!"

Also, this was John's first real live performance after rejoining the band - they had only played a small radio gig before.
