All of ATA ARMS SP series of over and under shotguns are packaged in “take down” condition, meaning they come in two pieces.

The receiver-and-stock assembly separated from the barrel-and-forend assembly in the shipping carton.

The choke box is located under the folded cardboard.

The barrel-and-forend assembly is located under the folded cardboard.

Please make sure to read owner’s manual before using the gun.

When you open the choke box you’ll have 3 pieces interchangeable flush mobile chokes, 4 pieces comb-spacers and a 3 mm hex wrench for adjustable stock and a choke key including the choke box.

SP Supersport comes with total 5 pieces interchangeable mobile chokes. Full, Improved Modified and Skeet flush mobile chokes are including the box.

SP shotguns feature interchangeable choke tube system.

When you take off the protecting cover you’ll have the barrel-and-forend assembly and the receiver-and-stock assembly.

The adjustable stock is an optional feature. SP Supersport is also available in non adjustable stock.

To remove the forend from the barrel assembly depress the forend release button.

Push the top lever to the right until it locks open.

It has a ventilated mid-rib.

Red colored SUPERSPORT marked and CNC-machined graceful seven lines are on both side of the receiver.

SP Supersport is available in 12-gauge and chambered for 3-inches (76 mm magnum) cartridges.

The single selective trigger has a barrel selector.

A red dot will become visible below the safety slide when the gun is the FIRE position.

Move the safety slide rearward with your thumb until it stops in the “SAFE” position. The “S” will become visible.

To select the bottom barrel to fire first, move the selector to the right exposing one dot.

To select the top barrel to fire first, move the selector to the left exposing two dots.

The weight of trigger pull is under 6 pounds (around 2700 grams).

The ejectors automatically eject any fired cartridges from the barrels when the action is fully opened.

SP SUPERSPORT has a “Mechanical trigger" that does not rely on recoil to reset for the next shot.

Mechanical trigger system is often desired by expert level clay target shooters who want an elevated level of speed and control.

Apply a light coat of oil to the choke tube threads.

Insert the choke tube into the muzzle of the barrel, and screw it into the barrel as far as possible with your fingers, turning it in a clock-wise direction.

When it becomes finger-tight, use the choke wrench to tighten the choke tube until you feel a stop.

To prevent damage to barrel or choke tube threads, do not over-tighten.

To change height adjustment, carefully insert the 3 mm hex key supplied with adjustable stocks into the holes on the right side of the comb and loosen the screws by turning them counterclockwise for approximately two turns.

Set of 4 pieces comb-spacers equipped with the adjustable stock models.

You can loosen the screws, set the comb where you want it, and tighten it back up.

The comb can also be adjusted side to side position.

Using a 3 mm hex wrench, loosen the two adjustable comb shaft screws. Only loosen the screws, do not remove completely.

Place the comb back on the adjustable comb shafts while they are still loose, then maneuver the comb side to side to the desired position.Tighten the adjustable comb shaft screws.

Place the comb back onto the adjustable comb shafts and slide it up or down to the desired position.

The top rib is at 10 mm width.

Overall length is 46 1/2 inches (118.5 cm) with 28-inch (71 cm) barrel and 1 3/16 inches (3 cm) extended chokes included.

Length of pull is 14 5/8 inches (37 cm).

Barrel length options are 28 inches (71 cm), 30 inches (76 cm) and 32 inches (81 cm).

In 12 gauge with 28-inch (71 cm) barrel and adjustable stock the gun weighs 7 pounds 14 ounces (3570 grams).
