Today’s pick-one showdown: the Victorinox Soldier 08, the actual Swiss Army–issued knife… versus a heavy Soviet multitool knife from the 70s–80s, weighing almost the same at around 130g.

Both have the basics — blade, awl, openers, flathead — but the execution couldn’t be more different.
The Soldier brings a serrated main blade, a wood saw, and a dedicated Phillips driver.
The Soviet multitool counters with its own old-school toolset, including a shell puller and classic USSR-style combo openers.
