This no scrubbing toilet and tank clean method is non toxic and cheap. It is much safer for the health of the body and the environment. Most conventional cleaners are primarily water and very toxic, not to mention expensive.

The tank causes much of the problem of hard water stains on the actual bowl. Inside the tank is where a lot of the grime and rust originate. Then it stains the bowl and small particles of toilet paper get stuck in the hard water marks. YUCK, YUCK AND YUCK!
Nontoxic Cleaners To The Rescue.

The Tank Cleaner Method
Pour 1 -2 cups of citric acid into the tank and leave for an hour. Then flush and notice the dramaric difference
BONUS TIP:- add 1 to 2 cups baking soda to the tank every 2 weeks. Every time you flush the slighty abrasive nature of the baking soda will help keep the tank and bowl sparkling.

The Toilet Bowel Cleaning Method
Pour 1-2 cups of distilled white cleaning vinegar into the bowl and leave for an hour. Flush and pour baking soda so it covers the entire bowl and then add vinegar. This will foam up which is a good sign. Leave for one hour and flush. Notice the clean bowel

Heavy Lifting
I keep a bottle with half vinegar and half water close by in case there is the occassion for heavy lifting required.
