fishing has srarted to pick up now that the nights are cooling down, after a tough bite on squam in august, we were able to get some good bites during pratice for nh bass hunters squam tournament. during the tournamanet we caught a lot of smallmouth bass in different depths from up shallow in rocky area to fishing humps 15 to 20 ft and then fishing fock piles in 30 ft, also the day before i fished a small tournament on northwood lake, i got 3 decent largemouth but could not fill a limit. we finished squam in 6th place with just under 12 lbs and i had lunker smallmouth
