Gear Ant Velvet Ant - lo-fi vinyl record emulator

I've been a huge fan of Gear Ant for a while now. Initially, for their incredible refinishing jobs on other pedals, but these days it's mostly for their own pedal designs, which are equally as impressive!

The Velvet Ant is essentially a lo-fi, gramophone simulator that was designed with assistance from the creators of the magnificent 'Albert'; Glowfly. Like that pedal, you get the ability to dial-in authentic white noise and degradation effects, along with low-pass and high-pass filtering.

However, in addition to those slightly more familiar elements, you also get an input gain control which is great for adding some "bite" to the effect. It's also housed in a very small, 1590b enclosure with top jacks, making it extremely easy to fit onto a pedalboard!
