in probability. Much of the concepts in probability are derived from the
consequences of set theory. The most straightforward way to define a set is to say
that it is an unordered collection of objects. These objects are called the elements
of the set, and they can be organized into smaller collections called subsets. Some
common examples of sets include {R}R, the set of all real numbers, {Z}Z, the set
of all integers, and the Cantor set. You will study about many of them in the video.
