Our 9 holes in full glory from the sky as it hugs Lough MacNean. Blacklion Golf Club sits in the upper corner of Co Cavan and is probably the golf club closest to the border with Co Fermanagh. Lough MacNean meanders down to the Lough Erne basin and ends up in the Atlantic Ocean. Blacklion is right between the Erne and Shannon waterways with the Shannon Pot (source of the mighty river Shannon) only a few miles away. Surrounded by ancient landscapes sculpted by glaciers, extensive cave systems and the Stairway to Heaven, Blacklion also has one of Ireland's finest restaurants run by Neven Maguire, Blacklion greatest ambassador. There is plenty to do and see and golf is one activity, Our 9 hole with multiple tees and multiple greens provides a test of nerve and skill to even the most seasoned golfers but remains playable for golfers of any ability.
