I’m humbled to share with you all that I was honoured to be awarded the Junior Singer of the Year last night at the Sydney Eisteddfod!

What makes this experience even more special is the outstanding talent of the four other finalists I had the privilege of sharing the stage with. A huge shoutout to @annikahuisman_official, @taiyomarchand, @madison_rose_koniseti, and Isabel Mrsic — you all were amazing, and I truly hope we can collaborate in the future???

Working with the stage band was a real privilege. Thank you to Andy 🥁Joey 🎸 Trent 🎸 and Andrew 🎹 for providing flawless, on-point support for all eleven of us on stage.

I’m also grateful to the adjudicators for their detailed feedback in heats and competitions this year, which helped me grow and improve. And of course, for making the final decision! 😜

Thank you Annette, Lauren and the team at @sydeisteddfod for gifting young artists a stage to perform, one of the few arenas where young artists aged 12-25 years are able to nurture our talents.

Thank you to the Sydney Eisteddfod sponsors, especially @petersham_rsl , for supporting young contemporary music artists. Without your generosity, this competition wouldn’t be a competition!

Thank you Zoe @thevoicehutsydney for the best weekly coaching lessons. I learn so much from you and am grateful to your genuine care and expertise.

Lastly, thank you to my amazing mentor and coach @andrewross28. After having laryngitis all week, I was nervous about singing on an unstable voice. Andrew’s compassion went above and beyond to restore my somewhat wavering confidence in myself. Couldn’t ask for a better coach mentor and role model (and thank you for giving up your Sunday!) 🎤🎹
