These are the LAST and final remaining original elevators from when the Helsinki metro network was opened to the general public on 2. August 1982. The network has been extended since then and some other stations still have original elevators from when they were built, but no other station has original elevators from the very beginning of the metro system in 1982.

This video also includes the escalators of this station, which are original 1982 Valmet-Schindlers - also something quite rare and nice.
