This drama depicts the powerful pastime of Lord Nityananda delivering Jagai and Madhai-two sinful brothers transformed by divine mercy. Despite Madhai’s offensive action to Lord Nityananda, Lord Nityananda responded with immense compassion by begging Lord Caitanya not to kill Madhai and his brother. The two brothers feeling fearful, had leapt to the feet of Lord Caitanya, begging not to be slain. At first, Lord Caitanya had rejected their apology, saying that they could only be forgiven if they first sought forgiveness from Lord Nityananda. This reminds us that only through the mercy of Lord Nityananda that we can receive the mercy of Lord Caitanya Mahaprabhu.
