TTArtisan 25mm f2 lens on Fujifilm Review

Do you need native lenses for your camera, or do third party lenses work just as well?
I take my TTArtisan 25mm lens on my X-E4 to Melbourne for some street photography.
This TTArtisan lens, although all manual, is wonderful for street, casual shooting, and more than up to any sort of photo that will go onto social media. In fact, you won't be able to tell any difference between images from this lens and a comparable Fujifilm lens.
If you aren't a working photographer, why spend big money on lenses when these much cheaper ones will do the same thing?
