Dazed and Confused is Pure '70s Nostalgia

Dazed and Confused is the best "hangout" movie of all time. Richard Linklater really created something special when he directed this film back in 1993. From the cast, writing, story, directing, etc. everything about this movie is great.
Dazed and Confused also introduced some of the biggest actors today (Matthew McConaughey as "Wooderson" and Ben Affleck as "O'Bannion"). The characters in this film truly make it what it is, as they are all very memorable.
I love this movie because you can really just turn it on at any point in the film and just hangout with the characters. The plot is not too serious, but there is no reason for it to be. It's a movie about hanging with your friends and enjoying summer break. Oh, and there's also a lot of driving around.
