Satisfying Rocking Chair Refinishing - This Was A Hard One!

This rocking chair refinishing job was a challenge from beginning to end, from having issues with scraping and sanding, to the stain/poly blend having its own issues! But in the end I do think it turned out beautifully. Especially from a guy that is definitely not a pro when it comes to restoration or refinishing. But I was asked to do this rocking chair refinish on a budget, from a good client, and I didn't want to disappoint, so this one definitely had some overtime hours into it.

After the stain and poly blend was applied, I still wasn't satisfied so I added a topcoat of water based poly and for my taste, it suited it perfectly. All in all a great, but frustrating project. I always look back on past projects though, and try to learn and improve on any mistakes, or just better ways of doing things in general!
