The Architecture includes,
S A P, to S A P CPI as middleware and to SuccessFactors.
1. Configure System Connectivity for SAP ERP HCM System:
• Initiate configurations in Transaction SOAMANAGER to activate inbound and outbound web services. Typically, this involves adjustments in web service configurations and Simplified Web Service Configuration.
2. Install Root Certificates:
• Utilize Transaction STRUST to install all root certificates.
3. Security Setup in CPI (Cloud Platform Integration):
• In the Monitoring tab of CPI, install all security-related certificates. Additionally, in the Security Material tab, include user credentials for both the SAP ERP HCM system and the SuccessFactors system.
4. Artifact Configuration:
• Open the artifact and perform necessary configurations such as adding endpoint URLs, credentials, and any other required information.
5. Permissions in SuccessFactors:
• Within SuccessFactors, navigate to Manage Permission Roles. Grant access to all essential permissions required for the replication of Employee Master Data from the system.
6. Create Replication Target System Object in SuccessFactors:
• Establish a replication Target System object within SuccessFactors.
7. Customization in SAP ERP HCM System:
• Conduct all customization activities in Transaction SPRO (further details discussed below).
8. Execute Query in SAP ERP HCM System:
• Run the relevant query in Transaction SE38. If connectivity and configurations are successful, logs with the required data will be visible in Transaction SLG1. In case of issues, error logs will be accessible for troubleshooting.
9. Check the Logs using transaction code SLG1 and troubleshoot for failures.
