Today I’m happy to take you to a magical retreat hidden in the Ardennes mountains in Wallonia, southern part of Belgium. This castle is called Chateau de Walzin. Its origins date back to the 11th century and what makes it so special is the fact it’s hanging over a beautiful cliff overlooking river Lesse in the middle of nature. Believe it or not, Belgium is full of incredible gems like this, and amazingly Belgians don’t even brag about them, in typically Belgian self-effacement.

On an usually warm December day I took my little 28 string Camac Bardic harp to this enchanted place. In this video I am playing the Grenadier and the Lady followed by the Rectory Reel.
